Die Altstadtkirche St. Martin in Pforzheim ist die älteste Kirche der Stadt, teilweise auf römischen Fundamenten erbaut. Erstmals urkundlich erwähnt im Jahr 1385, trägt sie den Namen des fränkischen Bischofs St. Martin. Die Kirche wurde über die Jahrhunderte mehrfach umgebaut und restauriert, zuletzt nach schweren Schäden im Zweiten Weltkrieg von 1949 bis 1953. Heute prägen klassizistische Elemente aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und ein neugotischer Turm das Erscheinungsbild. Die Gemeinde nutzt die Kirche für verschiedene Veranstaltungen und Konzerte, während auch die serbisch-orthodoxe Kirche hier aktiv ist.

Alte Stadtkirche (Pforzheim)
Die Alte Stadtkirche in Pforzheim, erbaut von 1899 bis 1899 nach Plänen von Carl Voß, war ein imposanter neogotischer Bau mit einem markanten 80 Meter hohen Turm. Sie ersetzte vorherige Kirchenbauten, die durch Brände zerstört wurden, und war ein zentrales Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs schwer beschädigt, wurde sie 1962 gesprengt, was öffentliche Proteste auslöste. 1968 wurde an derselben Stelle die Neue Evangelische Stadtkirche eingeweiht, wobei einige Relikte der Alten Stadtkirche, wie der Taufstein, erhalten blieben.- Details

Alte Stadtkirche (Pforzheim)
Die Alte Stadtkirche in Pforzheim war ein historisches Gebäude, das von 1899 bis 1962 stand. Ursprünglich war die Dominikanerkirche von 1586 die evangelische Stadtkirche, die jedoch im Pfälzischen Erbfolgekrieg zerstört wurde. Nach mehreren Bränden und langwierigen Planungen wurde die neue Stadtkirche im neogotischen Stil nach einem Entwurf von Carl Voß erbaut und 1899 eingeweiht. Der 80 Meter hohe Turm wurde zum Wahrzeichen der Stadt.

Kulturhaus Osterfeld
Das Kulturhaus Osterfeld in Pforzheim ist ein bedeutendes soziokulturelles Zentrum, das seit seiner Eröffnung im September 1994 Kunst, Kultur und Bildung fördert. Es entstand aus dem ehemaligen Kulturzentrum "Goldener Anker" in Dillweißenstein. Initiator war der Amateurtheaterverein Pforzheim e. V. in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Penn-Club 2000 e. V.

Kulturhaus Osterfeld
Das Kulturhaus Osterfeld in Pforzheim ist ein soziokulturelles Zentrum, das im September 1994 eröffnet wurde und als Nachfolger des ehemaligen Kulturzentrums "Goldener Anker" dient. Es wird vom Amateurtheaterverein Pforzheim e. V. und dem Penn-Club 2000 e. V. betrieben und ist Sitz der Landesgemeinschaft der Kulturinitiativen und soziokulturellen Zentren (LAKS). Das Haus wird von der Stadt Pforzheim und dem Land Baden-Württemberg finanziell unterstützt und hat einen eigenen Förderverein.
